Service Engineer – Crown Lift Trucks Ltd

Your working day starts and finishes from home, giving you the flexibility to begin and end your day right at your doorstep.

Each day, you’ll receive your schedule of customer appointments from your local branch, which you can conveniently access on your company tablet.

Using your fully equipped service van, you’ll travel to your first customer site, discuss the requirements, and carry out the necessary work.

After completing a repair, maintenance visit, or inspection, you’ll move on to your next appointment with your mobile workshop fully equipped for the job.

Need spare parts? Simply order them via your tablet. They’ll be automatically delivered to your local branch overnight, so you can focus on providing excellent service without worrying about logistics.

Independently carry out maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, adjustments, and safety inspections on forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.

Perform modifications, upgrades, and retrofits to lift trucks and equipment.

Act as the first point of contact for customers on all technical matters.

Deliver outstanding service and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

• Full UK driving licence

• Technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience

• Interest in engineering and technology

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Willingness to travel within your local region

While it's great if you already have knowledge or experience working with lift trucks, it's not a requirement.

Through our comprehensive induction and training programme, you'll learn everything you need to know about our lift trucks and material handling equipment.

We provide the support and training needed to help you succeed in the role, regardless of your previous industry experience.

• Comprehensive product training: at our Training Centre in Birmingham, complemented by parallel online training courses to support your technical development.

• Branch-based onboarding: You'll shadow experienced Service Engineers in their day-to-day work and gain hands-on experience while learning everything you need to know about your role.
